04 Apr 16: Fraser Through A Ranger's Eyes

SCHOOL HOLIDAY PRESENTATION: Join Queensland Parks and Wildlife Ranger, Jenna Tapply, as she takes you on a journey into Fraser Island's unique flora and fauna, our colourful history and sort-after natural resources.

  • What makes Fraser Island's dingo population so special?
  • Is there as much sand here as in The Sahara?
  • What exactly did Eliza Fraser get up to during her short stay with the Butchulla people?

This Easter, QPWS Ranger Jenna joins us in our Centre Complex to talk all things Fraser Island. There'll be a bit of show and tell for the kids; plenty of fun and informative facts and you'll even get the chance to ask your own questions about Fraser Island.

If you're not doing a guided tour - and even if you are - this is your chance to learn about our pristine backyard..
