BOOKINGS 

Q: How do I make a booking? 
A: Bookings can be made online or by phoning the Reservations Team on 1800 678 623.

Q: Why can't I find any availability at K’gari Beach Resort over the coming weeks? 
A: Dates are selling fast year-round. If you are having trouble viewing resort availability, or securing your preferred travel dates, please contact our Reservations Team on 1800 678 623.

Q: I’m concerned about booking ahead for future travel – what are my options? 
A: The "Book Now, Pay Later" rate allows for free cancellation or amendment up to 15 days prior to arrival.

Q: What are the accommodation options for families & travelling with children? 
A: K’gari Beach Resort offers accommodation to suit 2 persons to 5 persons, from hotel rooms and self-contained apartments.


TRAVEL 

Q: How do I get to K’gari Beach Resort? 
A: K’gari Beach Resort is only accessible by 4WD. If guests do not have their own 4WD they should hire one from the mainland or arrange transfers with Fraser Island Taxi Service. Multi day tours with an overnight stay at K'gari Beach Resort can be booked with Reservation on 1800 678 623 or at K'gari Explorer Tours.

Q: Do I need to time my trip around tide times?
A: Driving on K’gari's Seventy-Five Mile Beach is subject to tides and the general rule is to make sure you are off the beach for two hours either side of the high tide. Tide times are available on the Bureau of Meteorology website. Make sure you type in Waddy Point for tide times on the eastern beach and Urangan for tide times on the western side.


ACCOMMODATION HOTEL / APPATMENT FACILITIES

Q: Does my room have air conditioning?
A: All standard hotel rooms and apartments are not air-conditioned, all standard rooms are fitted with ceiling fans. King hotel rooms and king apartments come with new fixtures, furnishings, and air-conditioning. These rooms can be booked for an additional fee and are subject to availability.

Q: Does my hotel room come with a kitchen/cooking facility?
A: There are no cooking facilities in resort rooms, these are available in the 2-bedroom apartments only. We have free-to-use BBQs located next to the tennis courts for house guests with BBQ utensils available from reception.

Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
A: Check-in is from 02:00pm and check-out is at 10:00am. Reception is open 07:00am to 06:00pm daily with afterhours check-in available at McKenzie's restaurant.

Q: What dining options are available at the resort?
A: Our resort restaurant ‘McKenzie's on 75’ is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.

  • House made pizza

We also have an on-site bakery offering Aussie favourites, including bread, sandwiches, meat pies, sausage rolls, bacon & egg burgers and more.

The Eurong Bakery is currently open from 07:00-15:30 daily.
